Ideal Candidates
To succeed as a teacher/tutor, you should have a passion for Mathematics and/or English and the patience to work with Primary and/or Secondary students. A successful track record as an educator in these subjects or being a capable University student is preferred but not mandatory.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Experience in delivering teaching, tutoring, and mentoring programs to students
- A strong passion for teaching
- Open-mindedness and willingness to learn
- A strong sense of responsibility
- Strong communication skills with the ability to apply various teaching methods to adapt to students' learning styles
- The ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and team members
- Adaptability to work in a highly engaging and innovative manner
- Current VIT Registration or Working with Children Check
- Teaching or Tutoring experience (preferred)
- Skilled online teaching experience (highly regarded)
