We are seeking a skilled English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D) Consultant (Broome Regional Office) to join our vibrant team at the Broome Regional Office!
The Role
This role is responsible for providing leadership and building capacity of teachers and leaders in Catholic schools in the Kimberley, in the area of English as an Additional Language/Dialect.
This is a full-time ongoing position commencing as soon as possible.

About you?
- Commitment to the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.
- Commitment to CEWAs Vision for Learning.
- Knowledge and excellent understanding of pedagogical practice.
- Recent school-based experience with a history of exemplary teaching in EAL/D.
- Excellent practical and theoretical experience with data analysis.
- Capacity to work with school leaders and teachers in the area of EAL/D.
- Highly developed organisational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to show initiative and be proactive.
- Highly developed skills in digital technologies.
- Experience in delivering quality professional learning.
- Capacity to develop and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Current TRBWA registration and Working with Children Check.
- A willingness to travel to and work in regional and remote locations.
- Specialist EAL/D qualifications, including qualifications in Teaching English to Speaker of other languages (TESOL). Applied Linguistics or related fields.
