About You

As an English Teacher, you will be an innovative, highly skilled and passionate educator with a distinct focus on holistic education.

To be successful for this role, you must demonstrate;

• a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College, the Catholic Church and the wellbeing of all community members,
• a commitment to academic excellence, and demonstrated knowledge of contemporary pedagogical practices that encourages academic excellence,
• commitment to continual improvement and effective use of data to differentiate the curriculum and address the learning needs of all students,
• knowledge and understanding of the current curriculum and NESA requirements for English,
• ability to successfully integrate technology into everyday learning and planning,
• interpersonal skills with parents, students and staff,
• demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team.

Desirable:

• ability to teach another subject, preferably Religious Education.

You will have attained:

• a Tertiary qualification in Education
• eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
• an Employee ID registration number with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) or a commitment to Register to Teach in SCS.
