Our innovative and creative English Faculty is seeking a passionate English Teacher to join our team. This unique opportunity is a permanent, part-time (0.6 FTE) position, ideally commencing in Term 3.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for literature, a commitment to educational excellence, and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners. We are looking for someone who can inspire and engage our students, fostering a love of English and a lifelong love of learning.

**Graduates or LAT holders that have completed their placements are encouraged to apply**
Applicants will have:
- tertiary qualifications in Education.
- current registration with the Tasmanian Teacher’s Registration Board, or be eligible for registration, or an approved LAT (placements completed).
- sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum as it relates to the teaching of English.
- experience teaching secondary and TCE English
- a commitment to ongoing professional development
- ability to motivate and engage students
- confidence in the use of technology and a willingness to embrace it to enhance learning.
- current registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Tasmania) or be eligible for registration.
- a commitment to supporting the wellbeing and safety of students.
