READING TOWN Academy is the private English & Math Learning Centre offering a quality English Reading, Writing and Math for children in Years K - 11. It has an unique and proven curriculum designed to improve English language & literacy and mathematical skills effectively.
Established in 1987, Reading Town has gained international recognition and currently has 150 campuses in 12 countries (USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Singapore, China, Argentina, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Bolivia, and Saudi Arabia).
With online/offline opportunities, we are inviting training or qualified teachers to join the Chatswood, North Strathfield, Hurstville branches as below:
Qualification/Requirements
- Training or Qualified Primary/High school teachers of NSW.
- Currently studying Education degree university students.
- A fluent English speaking teachers with excellent command of spoken and written English.
- The role will be suitable for candidates who (are)
+ understand the importance of reading in English education

+ patient yet active & energetic
+ enjoy reading/writing
+ have passion for teaching children from a diverse backgrounds
Job Description
- Teaching small group classes (max. 3 students)
- Teacher's guide and teaching materials are provided
- Following the teacher's guideline and curriculum/material provided by the Centre
- As we take quality children's picture books, chapter books and classics as our main textbooks, the successful teachers are required to read certain number of books before start
Working Environment
- Location: (All walking distance from train station)
Branch 1: Shop 6, 95 Forest Road, Hurstville
Branch 2: 1st Floor, 86 Archer Street, Chatswood
Branch 3: Shop 4, 11 George Street, North Strathfield
- College class opening hours:
Monday ~ Friday, 3:30pm ~ 6:30pm;
Saturday 9:30am ~ 3pm (flexible choice of working hours)
