The Position
We invite applications to join our Enhanced Learning team in our Senior School as an Enhanced Learning Assistant. This is a full time, ongoing role commencing as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will engage with students who require support across a range of learning needs and to support and collaborate with teachers to ensure teaching strategies are successfully implemented.
The Enhanced Learning Assistant will support student learning needs in an inclusive classroom environment, fostering growth and development to enable our young people to become a confident learner and experience progress and success.
Appropriate educational qualifications, with Special Education/Learning Intervention qualifications, or similar, is advantageous.
You will be able to demonstrate the following:
- excellent skills in the contemporary use of learning technologies, supporting students with individual needs.
- promote a warm, positive and nurturing environment while supporting students with their learning.
- ability to work flexibly within a large team and the Classroom Teachers in a professional manner.
- build and maintain positive working relationships with students, bringing out the best in them.
