Enrolled Nurse

Reporting to the Facility Manager, we have a permanent part-time position to work across the following shifts.

• Working 2 to 3 shifts per week across Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
• Shift times vary, for mornings (0700 – 1500) and afternoons (1500 – 2200)

About the role:

• Carrying out nursing care plans in consultation with and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Consulting with a Registered Nurse in planning care on a shift basis
• Implementing care plans as documented
• Assisting in assessing residents within the ACFI criteria and ensuring all documentation is up to date and in accordance with company requirements
• Communicating effectively with a variety of people and contributing to teamwork within the workplace
• Participating in continuing personal development and education

About you:You genuinely care about your team and residents and enriching the ageing experience. You will also bring:

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse
• Previous experience with dementia care would be an advantage
• Ability to work independently and professionally
• Ability to motivate staff and promote a positive work environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to a person-centred care approach when providing care services
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to apply for one
• Willingness to obtain any relevant vaccinations required
