Alliance Care is currently seeking a CASUAL Enrolled Nurse for home-care services in Canberra, ACT. You will be required to travel to client's homes in this role.
Alliance is a doctor-led, clinically specialised NDIS provider, delivering a variety of services across NSW and ACT.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop detailed care plans aligned to NDIS goals.
- Perform Clinical Procedures like SPC's and IDC's.
- Oversee the administration of Medication and Scheduled Medication
- Train and assess Support Workers on care needs like epilepsy and dysphagia management.
- Escalate incidents requiring further medical attention.
- Demonstrate strong written communication and reporting.
- Collaborate with our internal doctors and clinical leads to monitor participants health and well-being
To be successful, you will be required to hold:
- A current AHPRA Registration as a Enrolled Nurse
- A current First Aid Certificate
- A current Manual Handling Competency
- Minimum of 2 years working in a clinical setting
- Experience with pediatrics and working with children with medically complex disabilities
- Strong experience with Ventilation Management & Enteral Feeding
- Hold a current and valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Full Australian Working Rights
- A driver's license, motor-vehicle and comprehensive insurance
