AddressPermanent Enrolled Nurse Position
Glenview Community Services are seeking a passionate Enrolled Nurse to join our new 8-bed transitional Specialist Dementia Care Unit (Waratah) at our Windsor St, Glenorchy site.
As an Enrolled nurse, you will be at the forefront of our care model, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to service delivery through regular team group meetings and portfolio opportunities. Supported by experienced Registered Nurses, Managers and a structured training framework, you will work with other team members to pursue excellence in clinical, relationship, and emotional support for residents.
You will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative team of health professionals including a specialised Dementia Care in-reach team of practitioners, as well as Glenview’s own specialist dementia care team.
The successful candidate will hold a Diploma of Nursing qualification, AHPRA registration and a current practicing certificate. In addition, you will demonstrate:
- Strong clinical care capabilities for an aged care environment.
- A high level of organisational, and prioritisation skills and an ability to multi-task.
- Adaptability and flexibility including the ability to deal with change.
- Proven ability to work as part of a cohesive team.
- A commitment to quality continuous improvement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A commitment to personal growth through Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Essential criteria for the role include:
- Satisfactory National Police Check
- AHPRA Registration without practice limitations
- Working with Vulnerable People Registration with NDIS Endorsement
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
- Covid-19 vaccination- a minimum of 3 doses
- Current season Influenza Vaccination
Aged Care experience and knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards would be well regarded but is not a pre-requisite.
