Form of workAn exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Enrolled Nurse Advanced Skills to join the Central Sterilising and Supply Department at the Hervey Bay Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. Your opportunity:
- The Enrolled Nurse Advanced Skills (ENAS) practices under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) providing clinical and patient-centred care within the Central Sterilising and Supply Department. The EN utilises their knowledge, skill and competence to effectively develop, provide and evaluate patient care, whilst maintaining regular communication and assistance from the RN.

Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases ( https://tinyurl.com/yc6pgyt2 )(VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).
From 9th December 2019 all new employees will be required to be assessed for their risk of Tuberculosis (TB). You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $77,050 p.a., comprising salary rates between $38.11 - $40.44 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 4) (Permanent Part Time, 64 hours p.f.)
