Mental Health Service Group are seeking experienced and client focused Enrolled Nurses for permanent part-time and casual employment opportunities within their Charters Towers Rehabilitation Unit.
Please note - there is one permanent part-time role (40 hours per fortnight) and three (3) casual roles available.
The role of the Enrolled Nurse is to work within a multidisciplinary recovery framework, provide mental health nursing practice consistent with the philosophy, goals and objectives of the mental health service, to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care. This role is diverse and requires nursing staff to provide nursing care in relation to chronic disease, wound management and recovery from substance use disorders.
Eligible Health Workers who move to Queensland from interstate and international jurisdictions to take up permanent employment may receive up to $70,000 (pro rata) inincentive payments under the Queensland Health Attraction Incentive Scheme ( https://www.careers.health.qld.gov.au/working-for-us/workforce-attraction-incentive-scheme )
The opportunity This Enrolled Nurse position provides direct nursing care to patients utilising clinical skills under the delegation and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) utilising education and support, encompassing purposeful evidenced based practice interventions to consumers, recognising safety of all.

Generous remuneration package (permanent part-time) value up to $44,516 p.a. comprising:
- Salary rates between $4017.60 - $4302.00 p.h. (part-time) / $42.90 - $45.53 p.h. (casual rate) (NG3)

Role requirements
- Mandatory: Diploma of Nursing or equivalent is a mandatory qualification for this position.
- Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
- Shift work: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which may include participation in an on-call roster.
- All employees of the MHSG may be required to work in other areas of the Service.
- Ongoing professional development relevant to the delivery of specialist Mental Health Services (MHSG) to maintain appropriate registration and/or association requirements is a requirement of all staff within the MHSG.
- All employees of the MHSG may be required to work in other areas of the Service.
