Salary- strong nursing leadership team, including Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Nurses, that provides leadership and clinical oversight and support for the multidisciplinary clinical team; and
- collaborative multidisciplinary clinical team founded on a nursing backbone (MCH Nurses, registered nurses, registered midwives, Enrolled Nurses), complemented by allied health such as social workers and psychologists and other specialist staff such as Aboriginal heath care workers and General Practitioners.
- Under the delegation and supervision of a MCH nurse, registered nurse or midwife provide nursing care to admitted families and implement the EPC model of care
- Work as part of the nurse led multidisciplinary team to support parents to achieve their parenting goals
- Maintain an understanding of parenting challenges and promote prevention, early intervention and help-seeking opportunities
- Apply knowledge to practice independently and evaluate situations
- Maintain awareness of scope of practice and exercise initiative to escalate concerns to an MCH nurse, registered nurse or midwife who has delegated care to you
- Recognise and promote factors that contribute to connection to culture and community diversity, and promote self-determination in decision-making
- Hold a current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse
- Ability to develop trust and rapport with patients and families
- Demonstrated ability to strengthen client capacity to reach their goals
- Ability to work a rotating roster consisting of days and nights throughout the EPC

The classification is Enrolled Nurse Grade 2 (IB68 - IB72) which ranges from $33.83 - $36.00 per hour.All appointments are subject to a satisfactory police records check, immunisation clearance and Working with Children check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check.All employees must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required, which at a minimum is a surgical mask.
