Eligible Health Workers who move to Queensland from interstate and international jurisdictions to take up permanent employment may receive up to $20,000 in incentive payments under the Queensland Health Attraction Incentive Scheme The opportunity The Enrolled Nurse provides patient centred nursing care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and in accordance with the Practice Standards as identified by the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Role requriements Mandatory: Diploma of Nursing or equivalent is a mandatory qualification for this position. Highly Desirable:Evidence of completion of modules related to medication administration and peripheral intravenous therapy. Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster. The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following: Ability to contribute to assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of person centred nursing care under the delegation of the registered nurse. Compliance with organisational mandatory training requirements Ability to work as an effective member within a multidisciplinary team. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with the multidisciplinary team, patients and their families. Ability to use or learn to use information systems appropriate to the position. Ability to demonstrate own ongoing professional development.
