Help lead the team at our facilities in Merriwa, Vivian Bullwinkel Lodge and Karri & Tuart Lodge. This role as the EN will see you:
- Contribute to the assessment of residents;
- Contribute to the development and review of a care plan for residents;
- Provide care and support to residents under the supervision of the RN;
- Monitor the well-being of residents and report changes;
- Update residents’ records;
- Contribute to assessing the effectiveness of nursing care to achieve outcomes for residents;
- Perform specialised clinical nursing tasks within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse;
- Supervise Care staff.
About the Facilities:
The Merriwa Estate and Cambrai Village are home to two of our Residential Care Centres in Merriwa: Karri & Tuart Lodge and Vivian Bullwinkel Lodge.
We would love for you to join us atKarri and Tuart Lodgeas an Enrolled Nurse. Karri and Tuart Lodge is a refurbished 110 bed Residential Care Centre located in the northern suburb of Merriwa at 19 Hughie Edwards Drive.
Here we offer, permanent, respite and secure dementia care.
Or come join us at ourVivian Bullwinkel Lodge. The Vivian Bullwinkel Lodge was opened in late 2007, situated in 85 Hester Avenue. Even though it is the smaller facility out of the two with 79 beds, the lodge still offers the same amount of care and services with permanent and respite care.

About you:
- Eligible for registration with the Western Australian Nurses Registration Board as an Enrolled Nurse;
- Developed knowledge and understanding of the role and scope of work undertaken by an Enrolled Nurse;
- The ability to contribute to a multi-disciplinary team that has a people centered focus of care;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Possess a familiarity with the Aged Care Accreditation Standards;
- Enjoy building positive relationships with residents, their families and staff.
