Enrolled Nurse - Rehabilitation Team

About the role:
A fantastic opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary community-based rehabilitation.Our Enrolled Nurse supports Allied Health Team members in delivering rehabilitation programs, in outpatient, home-based and community settings.In this role the Enrolled Nurse works closely with our Physiotherapist to provide an outpatient physical rehabilitation program in our outpatient gym each morning. In the afternoons, the Enrolled Nurse supports the Allied Health Team in completing a range of administrative tasks including, booking, and setting up appointments for therapists, completing acceptance and discharge letters and booking initial assessments. Our Enrolled Nurse completes independent community visits to complete tasks to support the Allied Health Team. This may include picking up and delivering activities of daily living equipment and completing home exercise programs.Our Enrolled Nurse will be provided with training and support to independently complete team interdisciplinary intake assessments.

Our team members include Occupational Therapist (Team Leader), Physiotherapist, Speech Pathologist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, AHA and Enrolled Nurse.
Located in Toronto offering a relaxed lakeside vibe, approximately a 40-minute drive from the heart of Newcastle.

Westlakes Community Rehabilitation Team has a well-developed orientation program.
Our Enrolled Nurse will be supported on-site through an orientation process.
Administration support is available to assist with all work tasks.
Our Enrolled Nurse will be provided with education opportunities around falls prevention, continence management and ongoing skills in basic wound care. Ongoing supervision and support will be provided by the Team Leader and Allied Health Team.
Requirements:
Our successful candidate will possess the following:
Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed where applicable) with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA.
Current NSW Driver's license.
You will have excellent customer service skills.
You will enjoy delivering patient centred care with a focus on rehabilitation interventions.
You must must be organised and have good prioritisation skills.
You will have strong skills in administration and be willing to use multiple medical record systems. This is a solo Enrolled Nurse position within an Allied Health Team.
You will enjoy working with and implementing rehabilitation programs under the direction of Allied Health Professionals.
Advanced communication skills are essential to this role.
You will have availability to work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8.00 am – 4.30 pm.
