The Position
St John of God Bunbury Hospital located in the south west of Western Australia, is regarded as one of the finest private hospitals outside the metropolitan area.
With 145 beds and more than 330 highly qualified medical practitioners, our health care facility caters for a variety of medical and surgical admissions and palliative care, plus allied health and community-based services.
We are seeking applications from experienced and suitably qualified Enrolled & Registered Nurses - Scrub/Scout and PACU to join our enthusiastic and highly professional team of theatre nurses.
Positions are available on a permanent full time, part time or casual basis, with contracted hours negotiated with successful candidates.
The successful candidate will have:
- A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
- Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse.
- Candidates must have at least 2 years experience in Scrub/Scout or PACU.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and patient satisfaction.
- Knowledge of acts, codes and standards relevant to current practice.
- Clear concise written and verbal communication.
- Well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Ability to identify and solve problems, or seek help from appropriate resources.
- Ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team.
- Ability to prioritise and multitask to achieve desired results.
- A commitment to personal ongoing education and professional development.
