About the role: Relief Registered Nurse - Expression of Intrest Pool
- Employment Type: Expression of Interest Pool, Contracts may vary.
Position Requirements:
- Relevant Nursing Qualification.
- Nursing registration with AHPRA.
- Relevant certifications in First Aid, including First Aid Certificate, Management of Anaphylaxis, and Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies, are advantageous
- Professional indemnity insurance as per AHPRA registration requirements.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- An attitude of good customer service.
- Time and work management skills that ensure workload is managed and deadlines met according to agreed priorities.
- Attention to detail and application of techniques to ensure data accuracy.
- Flexibility and a positive attitude towards change.
- Desire to contribute and promote a harmonious and co-operative team environment.
- Maintain the confidentiality of information and protection of information according to privacy requirements.
Essential Criteria:
- To have a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
- To actively be a part of a Church or Christian community and exemplify Christian beliefs, behaviour, and practices.
- To accept the College’s Statement of Faith.
- Build co-operative and supportive relationships with the board, principal, staff, students and parents.
- Work to ensure personal best practice.
- Ensure that decision making is based on fact and is impartial and fair.
- Model the use of appropriate and proper channels of communication.
- Always act in the best interest of the College and its ethos.
- Adhering to all policies and procedures outlined by SCBC.
- First Aid certificate is desirable.
- Working With Children Card.
Essential Information about this position:
- This position is part of our Relief Pool, which means that applications will be stored for a period of six months. If you wish to be included after this time, you would need to reconfirm your application with the HR Team.
- While being part of the Relief Registered Nurse - Expression of Interest Pool does not guarantee a position, applicants will be considered when relief isrequired.
- Relief positions may vary in duration and frequency depending on the needs of the college.
- Suitable candidates will be notified when relief opportunities arise and will have the option to accept or decline interviews/positions based on their availability.
