This ocean theme has been used to name the four areas, Dolphin Cove, Penguin Cove, Osprey Cove & Pelican Cove.Aegis Shoalwater is an ageing in place Facility with a range of accommodation options. Dolphin Cove offers specialist dementia care.Accommodation comprises of single and double rooms with a large ensuite bathroom and air conditioning. The different areas or "coves" all have lounge and dining areas and access to extensive gardens and patio areas.About YouYou should be an empathetic person who possesses the following qualities:
- A commitment and genuine passion for Aged Care.
- An ability to inspire trust and proactively lead, coach, develop and mentor both unregulated care workers, care, and lifestyle staff.
- Undertaking clinical, social and self-care assessments.
- Anticipate residents’ changing health needs and initiate further assessments or referrals.
- Support residents and their families by addressing their queries, comments, suggestions, or concerns.
- Ensuring all care documentations are completed with the appropriate strategies implemented.
- Identifying and managing clinical risk in the aged care setting.
- Supporting, coaching, monitoring, and mentoring the unregulated care workers.
- Providing support to the Clinical Nurse Manager and clinical expertise to the care team.
- A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Clinical experience and ability to manage risk in aged care.
- A sound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and quality management systems.
- Full Australian working rights and be able to pass a national police clearance.
