The opportunity:
We are looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join our Restructuring & Insolvency division. In this role you will be working as part of a close-knit team liaising with internal and external stakeholders on formal and informal appointments. Learning and development, on THE JOB support and accredited training are all encouraged in this role to help you thrive.
You will be responsible for:
- Working on appointments such as voluntary administrations, receiverships, deeds of company arrangement, liquidations and safe harbour engagements
- Responsible for a portfolio of small to medium sized assignments under supervision.
- Conducting investigations and attending to the necessary statutory reporting.
- Ensure compliance with insolvency laws and regulations.
- Liaising with creditors and stakeholders involved in various administrations and explaining relevant legal procedures and timescales and the impact of proceedings.
About you:
- Currently studying or planning to undertake CA or similar
- Relevant bachelor's degree
- 1 - 3 years experience in a similar role
- High verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
