Lime Recruitment is currently working with a government department to recruit an Enterprise Architect contract to 02/06/2025 based at Fortitude Valley and working from home.
The Enterprise Architect function within Digital Architecture plays a critical role working with clinicians and health administrators to develop ICT strategic directions, priorities, choices, and investment decisions.
In this role you will:
- Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Ensure that any architecture work aligns with the broader Enterprise Architecture, while supporting changes to the Enterprise Architecture based on changes in the health system’s technology architecture.
- Specifically proven experience and working knowledge of Patient Administration System (PAS), Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and / or digital interoperability within a large, complex and distributed health care environment will be highly regarded.
- Proven ability to provide strategic direction that enables the delivery of sustainable, value for money, fit for purpose services and technologies that meet the business requirements of customers
- Develop target state Enterprise Architecture strategies and related transition roadmaps that help to define the digital program of work and guide business and ICT related investment decisions.
- Provide advice to senior executives, program managers and solution architects on high risk, high value investments to ensure solution architecture meets enterprise wide (system manager) architecture requirements.
- Proven ability to develop and manage stakeholder relationships, facilitate open communication, and capture and disseminate information.
- Strategic planning capability to advocate for services portfolio and technology reform.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering ICT services and solutions in a service provider or commercially oriented organisation
- Ability to provide specialist advice relating to enterprise technology architecture, influencing the broader architecture, ICT planning and any investment activities.
- Proven experience in developing, contributing to and review architectural strategies, mandated principles (standards) and roadmaps that meet the strategic requirements of the health system.
- A deep understanding of public sector operations, (particularly within the health care context) and the challenges faced by public sector managers in the provision of services.
- Strategic planning capability to lead, manage and advocate for business and system reform and to drive the adoptions of new services within a large, diverse and complex organisation.
- Demonstrated analytical and interpersonal skills commensurate with a complex and fast evolving service delivery organisation, including the ability to communicate with clarity and influence across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Manages resource requirements to ensure an appropriate balance between tactical and strategic demands.
You will have:
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded
- 5 or more years experience in Enterprise Architecture/design within large, complex organisations.
