Responsibilities:
-Facilitate community meetings, workshops, and events to engage residents in collective action
-Conduct community needs assessments and asset mapping activities
-Develop and implement community-driven initiatives, programs, and projects
-Foster partnerships and collaborations with local organizations, businesses, and government agencies
-Advocate for social justice, equity, and human rights within the community
Requirements:
-Certificate III in Community Services, Community Development, or related field (or willingness to obtain)
-Strong communication and facilitation skills
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
-Passion for social justice, community empowerment, and grassroots activism
-Flexibility and adaptability in responding to evolving community needs
