Enerven is excited to announce that we have been appointed by Origin to construct the Eraring battery in NSW. This nationally significant project is a grid-connected Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) set to be among the largest in Australia. Enerven are proud to work alongside Origin and Wärtsilä to deliver this exciting project and further bolster our activity in reshaping the NSW energy market.
Enerven specialises in the design, construction and maintenance of electrical, telecommunications, and renewable infrastructure, with specific expertise and experience relating to South Australia’s distribution and transmission network infrastructure.
Enerven is proactive, reliable, experienced and has a proven track record when it comes to quality, service delivery, safety and environmental sustainability.
The Role (24-month contract, located near Newcastle):
A fabulous opportunity to showcase your skills in environmental management. As our Environment Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that Enerven’s operations and activities are compliant with environmental laws and regulations. The primary purpose of this role is to partner with key stakeholders to support and coordinate a range of services including:
- Provide advice on a full range of environmental issues, including development of management plans and maps
- Actively manage environmental incidents to minimise environmental harm and ensure compliance with environmental legislation
- Review tender documents and identify risks and potential costs
- Undertake environmental site visits and audits on current projects
This all sounds great, what else do I need?
- Degree qualified in environmental management or science, or related field
- Experience in an environment coordination role in a medium sized business
- Current drivers licence - car
