Environment, Planning & Sustainability Manager - Multiple Sites

The CompanyOur client is a leader in the waste management and circular economy space. By being able to recycle well over a quarter of Queensland organic waste they positively contribute to the environment in a number of ways, including the improvement of soil health and quality.

Due to recent growth and strategic planning, they have established a Environmental, Planning, Sustainability, and Quality business unit, which this role sits within.

The RoleThe primary focus of the role is to lead the environment and planning aspects of the business across the regional sites.

You will have additional responsibility for leading all sustainability initiatives at both the Brisbane Head office as well as the regional sites.

You will also work with external regulators to ensure up to date compliance with required permits and licenses, and you will also help to further develop internal awareness of EPS priorities at both the corporate and site level.

You will have / be:

• An experienced environmental professional with anywhere between 5 - 10 years of experience.
• Experience leading the environmental function of a business that includes multiple operational sites.
• Adept at working with internal stakeholders to increase company wide awareness of the value and importance of a top performing environmental and sustainability function.
• Experience working with external stakeholders and industry regulators.
• A degree in a relevant qualification (environmental science for example).
