Environmental Advisor

To support our clients' continuous growth and demand across major Energy sector projects, we are seeking to appoint a qualified Environmental Advisor to work with a dynamic and delivery focussed environment team, in supporting the execution of a World-class Oil & Gas project.

This role is being offered as a 1-year 'day rate' Contract assignment. You will be based in modern high-rise Perth CBD offices that fully support remote and flexible hybrid Working from Home arrangements.

Working within the project team, this role will provide support to other relevant projects HSEQ activities, ensuring environmental requirements are appropriately considered as the environmental management system is developed.

As an Environmental Advisor you will provide support across a wide range of activities including:

• Undertaking environmental assurance of project activities.
• Interfacing with key contractors executing the construction, commissioning, and start-up of various project packages.
• Supporting vessel assurance activities to set environmental expectations and facilitate compliance.
• Tracking and advising on environmental compliance requirements and undertaking associated environmental reporting activities.
• Supporting the development of environmental approvals, including those facilitated by the EP Delivery team.
• Supporting environmental impact and risk assessments for various activities, including management of change.
• Supporting the design and execution of environmental monitoring program/surveys.
• Reviewing and improving environmental management processes in support of the broader Projects HSEQ vision to 'enable leading environmental outcomes, beyond minimum compliance'.

A variety of skills and experience will be considered for this role; however, you must be able to strongly demonstrate the following experience at a minimum:

• Thorough knowledge of Australian environmental regulatory requirements.
• Experience with environmental impact, risk assessments, and project execution within Australia.
• Broader environmental support from the Projects HSEQ team will also help to set this role up for success.
