Environmental Responsibilities Overview
- Thoroughly clean various hospital areas, such as theatre operating rooms, patient rooms, administration and consulting spaces.
- Transport patients within the hospital, delivering excellent customer service
- Maintain meticulous documentation to monitor the facility's cleaning schedule
- Clean and restock all equipment as needed
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness across the entire hospital
- Attending all mandatory training and department meetings
- Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety policies and departmental procedures
- Prepare, plate and distribute patient meals and beverages
- Perform cleaning tasks within the department and on the ward, ensuring compliance with HACCP/Food Safety regulations, infection control and hospital standards
- Manage dishwashing responsibilities.
- Prior experience in a hospital setting, with a preference for expertise in theatre cleaning.
- Desirable qualifications: Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene principles
- Effective communication skills and good organisational skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise work loads
- Reliability, self-motivated and a friendly nature are essential attributes.
