Our Environmental Compliance Specialists maintain oversight across our operations that in turn provide the opportunity to develop cross commodity exposure across a broad range of compliance monitoring, and various reporting and approval instruments. You would be joining a dynamic, high performing Environmental Compliance team, where you will play an integral role fostering a culture of sustainability and best practice to align with our highest Environmental Compliance standards. Key deliverables: Provide front line support, facilitated training and continual improvement for environmental management applications (InForm, InViron, SharePoint and Power BI). Provide incident investigation and management support to site teams. Provide expert advice to the business pertaining to legal obligations and Environmental Compliance. Support the development and deployment of INX environmental management software applications to improve environmental obligation and data management processes across the business. Facilitate the collection, recording, analysis and effective communication of environmental data to support internal and external reporting requirements. Assist in writing regulatory environmental reports, EMS documents and training material to support the business. Assist with NPI/NGERS and Sustainability reporting to meet regulator and stakeholder requirements. Specialisation you’ll bring to the team: Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science and/ or Environmental Management 3-5 years’ experience as an Environmental specialist within the mining industry, consulting or government. Good time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks in a fast paced environment. Extensive experience with environmental management systems, monitoring and compliance. Strong computer skills, with exposure to ArcGIS or similar mapping software highly desirable. Medium to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite and technical writing. Ability to collaborate, communicate and influence across multiple stakeholders What are the benefits available to employees?
