We are currently looking for an experienced Environmental Engineer for our client who delivers a wide variety of civil and building works across Queensland.

Your new role

The role of the Environmental Engineer/Officer will be to successfully manage the environmental aspects and impacts on projects, and to assist in the achievement of organisational and project objectives at an exciting time of company growth.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful you will have:

• Biology or Environmental Science Qualification
• At least 5 years of experience on TMR Road Construction Projects
• Current Queensland Car Driver's Licence
• General Induction Construction Card (White Card)
• Work Safely in the Construction Industry
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven Time Management Ability
• Confident around the engagement and management of subcontractors and administrators
• Knowledge of Queensland's environmental legislation, regulations, and standards

This role is based in Townsville, working Monday to Friday or a FIFO arrangement would be considered for the right candidate (if based outside the Townsville Area), which would include:

• Accommodation
• Living Away from Home Allowance
• Fortnightly Return Flights to Brisbane (other QLD Airports considered on a case-by-case basis)
