Environmental Engineer or Environmental Scientist
Constructive Solutions Pty Ltd (CSPL) is seeking to expand its engineering team in order to meet an increasing demand for our services in fields such as infrastructure and renewables.

CSPL is a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with offices based in Brisbane (Toowong), Tamworth and Toowoomba. We provide civil and Environmental Engineering design and management solutions with specific expertise in the project management of civil infrastructure. Our clients comprise State government, local councils, resource sector companies, renewable energy proponents and other private enterprises.
the position
The full time position being offered is based in Brisbane (Toowong). Through your early and ongoing involvement in the design process, the preparation of environmental assessment reports and Environmental Management Plans, you will play a significant role in minimising the impact that our projects have on the natural environment
Working as part of a team of experienced professionals, you will receive mentoring and support to facilitate your career development. The exact nature of work will vary, depending on the nature of the projects that CSPL has been engaged to complete at the time however, demonstrated experience in project management is highly desirable.
Typical CSPL projects may include the preconstruction and construction project management of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and drainage for local and state government agencies as well as the for the resource sector and renewable energy proponents.
A key role will be providing environmental advice to our Clients. Accordingly, excellent communication and effective and constructive client liaison will form a significant component of the work.
the PERSON
The person we are looking for will need to have the following blend of qualifications, experience, and qualities:
- A degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science (or equivalent).
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills
- Ethical, trustworthy and is committed to the honest and open delivery of services.
- Ability to listen to Clients and develop solutions to meet their needs.
- Seeks solutions, wants to make a difference and is prepared to think outside the box
- Respects and supports other team members.
- Self-motivated and positive.
- Can manage competing and changing work priorities.
- Able to work with a high degree of autonomy.
- Experience in preparing environmental assessments and environmental management plans is highly desirable.
- Experience in working n a consulting environment would be well regarded.
- Environmental Engineers holding RPEQ status would be highly desirable
Applicants will ideally have at least five (5) years’ experience in a similar role in Australia.
Employment is conditional on the applicant holding a current QLD driver’s licence. Applicants must be currently living in Australia and be able to legally work in Australia.
