As a trainee, you'll be taught how to prepare drilling sites, extract core samples, and learn how to operate trucks, forklifts, drill rigs and more – all under the expert guidance of seasoned drillers.
Your adventures won't be limited to one place. You'll be at the heart of major infrastructure projects and regional areas and interstate from time to time.
Think you've got what it takes? We're looking for individuals with:
• A medium rigid driver's license: Ready to hit the road (and sometimes dirt!)
• A thirst for travel: Remote locations? Bring it on!
• Grit and a positive attitude: This job demands hard work, but the rewards are worth it.
• Safety first: We take safety seriously, and so should you.
• Fitness for the elements: Sun, rain, or shine, you'll be out there.
• A knack for mechanics: Drilling rigs are cool machines, and understanding them is a plus.
• Communication and teamwork: You'll be part of a supportive crew.
No prior drilling experience? No worries! We'll provide comprehensive training and mentorship. If you've got construction or trade experience, that's even better!
This is a full-time, permanent gig with a competitive salary and benefits, not a fly-in, fly-out deal.
You'll work Monday-Friday in Melbourne but be prepared for occasional weekend work and some exciting regional and interstate trips every now and then.
