About the role
DRA are currently seeking Expression of Interest for experienced CHPP Operator/Maintainers (Electrical/Mechanical) to join our team on site in Central Queensland. Contracts are offered on a full time, max term (September 2025) opportunity based on a 7/7 roster with flights from Townsville or Rockhampton provided and camp accommodation whilst on site.
Whilst Rockhampton and Townsville are our primary FIFO hubs we encourage and will consider applicants from all regional Queensland communities.
As apart of our core team, you will find that no two days are the same on site with DRA. Your duties will include but not be limited to;
Operate and monitor the preparation plant and equipment such as the Control Room and TLO
Operate stockpile dozers to manage the product coal stockpile, reclaim operations and train loading
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance tasks as required
Maintain CHPP equipment as requested during scheduled maintenance periods
Housekeeping and general maintenance of all areas of the CHPP and Train Loadout
Role requirements
Mechanical or Electrical Trade Qualification
Previous experience as an Operator Maintainer on a processing plant - Desirable
Valid Australian Drivers License - Essential
Valid Right to Work in Australia - Essential
Current Coal Board Medical or willingness to obtain
Current Standard 11 or willingness to obtain
SARC Cert (Safety Access Rail Corridor) - Highly regarded
Current LVR/CPR - if applicable
Demonstrated safety focus with the ability to work safely and effectively as part of a dynamic team
