As a Electrical Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to further develop your skills and contribute to a variety of projects within a supportive team.
Location: Horsham Region
Responsibilities:

1. Hands-on Installation and Maintenance:
   • Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and components under the guidance of experienced electricians.
   • Gain practical experience in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues.
2. Blueprint Interpretation:
   • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to understand project specifications and requirements.
3. Safety Compliance:
   • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your team.
   • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to maintaining a culture of safety awareness.
4. Material Handling:
   • Learn and apply proper techniques for handling electrical materials, tools, and equipment.
   • Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient inventory of electrical supplies.
5. Collaboration:
   • Collaborate with journeyman electricians, project managers, and other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
   • Seek guidance and ask questions to enhance your understanding of electrical systems and procedures.
6. Documentation:
   • Keep accurate records of work performed, including hours worked, tasks completed, and materials used.
   • Contribute to the preparation of progress reports and documentation for project management.

Successful candidate(s) will:

1. Currently enrolled in a recognized Electrical Apprenticeship program or willingness to enrol.
2. Ideally, completion of 2nd-year Electrical Apprenticeship.
3. Familiarity with electrical tools, equipment, and materials.
4. Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
5. Strong commitment to safety practices.
6. Have a White Card (or equivalent),
7. Proof of Rights to Work,
8. Effective communication skills and a willingness to learn.
9. Ability to work in a team environment and follow directions from experienced electricians.
