Our Electrical and Communications business is looking for a full-time apprentice electrician to join our medium sized company.
The company is based In the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne with our work undertaken in metro and regional Victoria. We work on in multiple sectors including commercial light, power, refrigeration, and communications installations.
The candidate would be reporting directly to the Project Manager / Director and working with a team of A Grade electricians to learn the skills required to be a qualified A Grade electrician and Communications installer at completion of their apprenticeship. The candidate must be prepared to travel to regional Victoria and work overtime and night shift where reasonably required.
Our aim is to train the successful candidate to above industry standards and subsequently employ them into a full-time role as a qualified A Grade electrician.
You would be trained in the below fields:
- Commercial and Industrial General Light and Power
- Refrigeration electrical
- HVAC electrical
- Communications
The candidate must have the below competencies and licenses (no exceptions):
- Year 12 pass in VCAT or VCAL
- Victorian manual driver’s license
- White Card
- Electrical pre apprenticeship
- Their own vehicle
- Live in metro Melbourne
It is preferable if the candidate has the below competencies and licenses but not mandatory:
- EWP license
- Working at heights certificate
