Job description

BGIS is a global leader in integrated facility management services. 

Our Australian operation is experiencing significant growth across its NSW Property Management and Building Maintenance Divisions. To support this growth, expressions of interest are sought to identify top talent in the greater Sydney, Newcastle, and Coffs Harbour.

We seek HSE professionals who have demonstrable experience in property residential and maintenance projects. 

Currently, we are looking for HSE Managers and Auditors. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with statutory and contractual obligations.
  • Maintain WHS system compliance.
  • Maintain Environmental system compliance.
  • Maintain BGIS processes, procedures and records on the BGIS Intranet page and the content for BGIS online WHSE services.
  • Manage internal and external WHSE audits.
  • Provide training on WHSE management.
  • Report on WHSE management.
  • Investigate OH&E incidents.
  • Provide training on BGIS management systems.
  • Understand the WHSE requirements and processes for work tasks and the elimination of workplace hazards.
  • Participate in near miss, hazard and incident reporting and follow up on corrective actions.

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Formal tertiary qualifications in Property, Commerce, Business or similar discipline; ·
  • Certificate IV in OH&S Management 

Desirable:

  • Diploma in OH&S Management, or a Diploma or higher qualification in a relevant discipline 
  • OH&S auditor course.
  • Permit Issuer Training (nationally accredited training course)
