***EOI*** Mental Health Occupational Therapist

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from motivated and passionate Mental Health Occupational Therapists for roles with our clients in various locations.

Our clients have various urgent requirements for locum and permanent Mental Health Occupational Therapists with experience working with caseloads across the lifespan in both private practice and NDIS provider settings.

The role of Mental Health Occupational Therapist will see you assisting clients with various mobility and health issues along with working with various neurological, developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional cognition assessment
  • Provide cognitive, sensory or environmental strategies to support clients in their home
  • Educate, support and liaise with participants, carers, colleagues, medical, nursing, allied health professionals to provide multi-disciplinary care
  • Ensure all documentation is appropriately updated to the clinical standard required by AHPRA
  • Adhere to code of ethics and practices
  • Participate in review meetings and case conferences as appropriate


Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current and full general registration with AHPRA
  • Previous experience as a Mental Health Occupational Therapist
  • Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
  • Current police clearance
  • Current Working with Children Check (state specific) and NDIS worker check (where required)
  • Current driving licence
  • Full Australian working rights


Location: Positions available will be based in metropolitan, regional and rural/remote areas.


Salary: This is dependent on your experience and location - this can be discussed in further detail.
