About us:
The Adult Community Services Team is based in Rockhampton and Capricorn Coast and provides a service to consumers with complex mental illness in outpatient and home settings, through a range of community Mental Health interventions including assessment, case management, therapeutic treatment, support, consultations and referral for adults from the Rockhampton and Capricorn Coast regional area. The service works in collaboration with the adult Mental Health inpatient and acute care teams, and primary health, community and private sector providers to reduce symptoms of mental illness and facilitate recovery.
About the role:
The Mental Health Clinician delivers quality recovery-based care at an advanced level to people living in the community who have been diagnosed as having serious Mental Health conditions. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, provides discipline specific case management to consumers as well as support for carers/families. The Mental Health Clinician liaises with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders in an advocacy capacity for their consumers (General Practice, Non-Government Organisations, internal Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS) stakeholders).
About you:
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Mandatory qualification/s: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and / or registration with the appropriate registration authority, including any necessary endorsements, to be provided to the employing service prior to the commencement of duty.

- Psychology
- Advanced clinical knowledge and competency as an allied health professional in the field of Mental Health.
- Ability to provide supervision and clinical support for clinical staff and students.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- An ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve quality outcomes.
Salary information:
Total remuneration value of up to $76,387 p.a. is comprised of:
- A salary between $62.75 - $67.53 p.h.
