About the role
Thiess Mount Arthur South, located just outside of Muswellbrook, have an exciting opportunity for you to expand your skills and grow with in a high performing team as a Pre-Service/Equipment Inspector.
This position will be working a lifestyle roster 5/4 4/5 5/5 12.5-hour dayshift only.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting Haul Trucks during services to identify defects & potential issues.
- Creating work orders based on defect severity and collaborating with maintenance planners to schedule repairs.
- Reviewing machine health reports to enable targeted inspections.
- Reviewing and ensuring accuracy of submitted job planning forms.
- Involvement in maintenance planning and reliability meetings.
- Trade Qualified Plant Mechanic Certificate III Automotive Mechanical Technology (Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment) or similar
- Post-trade experience working in the Mining, specifically with CAT 789 & 793's
- Sound knowledge of computer software's / previous experience with creation of work orders desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently & across multiple departments, meet critical deadlines and high attention to detail.
- You will also need to always possess a high regard and practice of health and safety.
