Opportunity to join a reputable asset operator on a part-time basis as an ESG consultant.

HumanKapital is a full suite human resources, recruitment and WHS services provider.
Our client is a highly successful, innovative service and asset operator using their extensive expertise in contract management, systems, infrastructure, finance, WH&S, and risk management. They are looking for an experienced ESG Consultant to join the team on a part time basis for a 9 month fixed term contract.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an ESG Consultant your role is to assist in consolidated asset strategy by identifying valuable investment and innovation opportunities
Key responsibilities include:
  • ESG inventory collating, reporting and management for enterprise data.
  • Providing oversight and feedback on monthly ESG asset data submissions.
  • Ensure compliance of reported data to relevant industry best practice and standards.
  • Develop and provide continual improvement on the sustainability/ESG reporting metrics and internal targets.
  • Support and coordinate sustainability data assurance and reporting process.
  • Develop presentations for leadership, relevant stakeholders and participate in stakeholder sessions.
  • Assist climate change risk assessments supporting enterprise risk governance.
  • Support innovation, ESG strategy and the development of asset transition plans.
  • Data evaluation and interpretation for high level reporting.
  • Scoping opportunities on commencing Scope 3 emissions.

ABOUT YOU
  • Relevant Qualifications in Environmental Engineering, Science, or minimum 4 years of Sustainability/ESG industry specific experience.
  • 3-5 years of GHG reporting skills
  • Excellent understanding of sustainability policies and environmental regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills including advanced writing skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills that allow constructive conversations with a range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with a range of professionals from multiple business/disciplinary areas.
