ESG Partnership Manager
AusIMM is seeking an experienced ESG Partnerships Manager to support the implementation of activities including project management, industry research, reporting, industry liaison, and contract administration. Reporting to AusIMM’s Head of Professional Standards, Sustainability and ESG the ESG Partnerships Manager will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of a partnership to establish an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Network.
Please note that this is a fixed term 18-month contract (maximum 24 months).
Key responsibilities and activities include (but are not limited to):
- Develop and provide a written Project Plans
- Establish an ESG Advisory Panel
- Review domestic and international current state and trends in ESG including ESG reporting, regulations/standards, and capability uplift tools/guidance
- Baseline Queensland’s critical minerals industry ESG capability with a methodology agreed to by the Department
- Analyse outcomes
- Develop and implement agreed capability uplift strategies, tools and guidance manuals
About You:
You will be joining an enthusiastic, friendly, and hard-working team within a business that welcomes your ideas and supports your career. Ideally, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification in a sustainability discipline, as well as:
- Deep understanding of ESG, relevant and related frameworks
- Extensive and applied industry experience in development and delivery of ESG outcomes
- Demonstrated Project management skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders
- Strong/confident communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability to network with other professionals in a collaborative manner
- Experience in government relations and advocacy activities, including developing submissions, building relationships, and understanding government processes
- Strong writing skills, including composition of external facing communications and a demonstrated track record of producing high standard written material
- Experience in or exposure to the resources sector would be highly valued
