Estate Experience Assistant

Tahbilk is Victoria’s oldest winery and vineyard and is home to one of Australia’s historic cellar doors. We are looking for a passionate individual to join the cellar door team as an Estate Experience Assistant that jumps right in to:

• Providing excellence in customer service and provides customers with every opportunity to experience Tahbilk as a wine club member or as a guest on site.
• To conduct and host Estate Experiences and events as an extension of the cellar door and aid in the management of private tours, tastings, wine blending experiences and eco trail walks.
• To coordinate and work with staff for both external and internal events such as, but not limited to:
  • Assisting in the set up and pack down of events.
  • Liaise with Cellar Door and Experience Manager and Cellar Door Supervisor with the co-ordination of the event.
• Work as part of a team to liaise, coordinate and support all elements of an event on and off site.

We are looking for someone with the following attributes:

• A safety focus revolving around people first.
• A keen interest and passion in wine and to share this with customers. WSET level 2 would be highly desirable.
• To conduct all aspects of the role in a professional, accurate, friendly and timely manner.
• Provide and maintain effective communication with all departments around the estate and with suppliers and event organisers.
• Demonstrate capability to manage competing priorities when organising events
• Demonstrate your knowledge with Purchase Order Systems and computer literate.
• Have excellence in team work and know how to build great working relationships.
