The role:
- Provide effective and administration assistance to the Operations Manager.
- Provide effective management to the flow of work through the Estimating department.
- Promote a close constructive collaboration between Estimating & Sales Team.
- Provide after contract issued support to Client Administrators.
- Liaise with the Operations Analyst with issuing of Monthly House Prices.
- Liaise closely with Scheduling Manager to provide synergy in costs between Estimating & Scheduling.
- Check Deals at initial stage of acceptance from Sales to prepare Estimates.
- Check Job Margin at critical milestones of the job flow.
- Monitor & assign workflow to Estimating staff.
- Proactively participate in meetings when they are held.
- Manage and provide ongoing support and training to the Estimating Team.
- Estimating experience within the Residential housing industry
- Proven track record as a Team Leader or Manager
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to work in a team or independently
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
