Position Overview: As an Estimator at SSAS ARCHITECTURAL, you will play a pivotal role in our project lifecycle, responsible for accurately assessing costs and preparing competitive bids for commercial window, door, and Aluminum Cladding projects. In addition to analyzing plans and specifications, you will also be required to go on-site to measure windows with a laser, ensuring precise estimations. Working closely with our project management and sales teams, you will contribute to the success of our projects by providing detailed and comprehensive estimates. Your expertise in both office-based analysis and on-Site Measurements will be crucial in delivering accurate assessments that meet the needs of our clients and the requirements of each project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand scope and requirements.
• Analyze materials, labor, and equipment costs to develop accurate project estimates.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and quotes.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, including material take-offs and labor projections.
• Present estimates to management and participate in bid reviews and negotiations.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, pricing data, and project documentation.
• Will need to have or get an EWP (Elevated Work Platform License ) 
• On Site Measurements and use of rotating laser levels

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent or Trade Certification in relevant field.
• Experience in AutoCAD System will be a significant Advantage.
• V6 Software and MS Office is a must.
• Proven experience as an Estimator and measuring ( 10 years ) in the commercial window and door industry, worked with the Alspec/ASA/Capril Section.
• Ability to do accurate Site Measurements is a must. 

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
