JLE Group is an industry leading electrical engineering and contracting company based in Dubbo - the regional hub of Central West NSW.
JLE Electrical is thriving and is seeking to expand within Dubbo and beyond, to do so we are currently seeking an Electrical Estimator/Project Engineer to join our team.
Location can be Dubbo or Sydney.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Business Unit Manager you will be responsible for preparation of estimating documentation such as Quantity take offs, wholesaler & subby requests for pricing, assisting the estimating & engineering team in day to project requirements, working with office administration staff and ensure efficient and effective outcomes based around JLE processes. Duties will include commercial, industrial & HV estimation.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Thorough understanding of the electrical & construction industry.
Ability to understand electrical plans & prepare BOQ’s for tender submissions.
Ability to work proficiently within deadlines and submission dates.
Ability to work unsupervised with given tasks and be a team player.
Confident use of computer systems.
Ability to comply to the company estimation approval guidelines.
5 years experience in the electrical industry (desirable).
Great communication & time management skills.
Desirable would be ability to use AutoCAD & proficient at Microsoft programs.
Desirable would be prior use of Simpro or management systems software.
Current Drivers licence.
Salary starting from 75,000
The offered rate will be based on qualifications and previous experience.
