As one of Australia's largest Insurance Repair Specialists, Ambrose Construct Group is seeking QBCC Licensed Building Estimators and Supervisors to join our team in the Gladstone/Rockhampton areas. Applicants from surrounding areas will be considered.
Using industry leading technology you will Assess, Estimate and Supervise Insurance Repairs of all kinds including Water Claims. All of your Contracts and Administration support is coordinated out of Head Office, meaning you get time to do what you are good at, Estimate, Schedule, Supervise and Quality Assure repairs.
The Role:
- Fulltime position covering the Rockhampton/Gladstone region.
- May require travel to remote areas.
- Reporting directly to our North QLD Construction Manager
- Estimating and managing insurance repairs
- Utilising industry leading technology to deliver exceptional results
- Requires a high level of customer service, communication and computer skills
- Includes an attractive salary, vehicle, fuel card, tablet, phone, uniform and industry based equipment
- Insurance industry training will be provided however previous experience will be advantageous
- Experience in Water Claims will also be a positive
- A current QBCC Building Supervisor licence (or equivalent)
- Current Police Check
- A minimum of five years building experience with a Carpentry trade background
- Experience in Estimating, Scheduling and Supervising trades and repairs (insurance related is preferred)
- A working knowledge of the NCC, QBCC Standards and Tolerances and WH&S
- Excellent communication skills
- High-level computer skills across mobile devices, repair management systems and Microsoft Office suite of programs
- An aptitude for creating, reading and interpreting scopes of work
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure the highest quality of finishes from your trade team
- A proactive nature and be keen to work as a member of highly successful, KPI driven team
