Address Join our client’s dynamic team as an ETL/BI Developer and play a pivotal role in shaping Australia’s future through data-driven insights. As a successful candidate, you’ll combine your passion for data with technical expertise in SQL, ETL tools, Power BI, and Excel.
Exciting projects lie ahead! Our client is moving to an on-premise solution to the Azure cloud. Craft dazzling reports and turn data into compelling narratives for our business area, executives, the committee, and the curious public.
Major Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Designing, developing and implementing changes to our client’s SQL database.
Designing, developing and implementing changes to our client’s ETL.
Looking after data integrity and build data models. Combining external data sources (think ABR and ASIC data) with venture capital insights.
Creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation.
Analysing data, link it to program.
Skills and Knowledge:
SQL proficiency
Previous experience in ETL development
Knowledge of BI Tools such as Power BI, Report Builder, Excel
Data management/cleansing/modelling
Skills in, or an interest in learning visual communication
Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving
Results-focused mindset, combined with teamwork skills
Flexibility, adaptability and resilience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Location: Canberra. A combination of home and office time ensures candidates can do deep thinking work and also support collaborations.
Contract term: 12 months with a potential for a 6 month extension option.
Security Requirements: To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current Baseline Security Clearance.
