Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Marshman Foundation, a growing not-for-profit research and development organisation with a focus on evidence-based program design, development and evaluation for programs that deliver personal leadership, improved wellbeing and lifelong success. 

We are seeking an Evaluations Lead to work with our external clients, to support the development of impact and evaluation frameworks for their programs.

This part-time role will be based out of the Marshman Foundation office in Brighton with flexible work conditions available.

What you will be doing:
  • Scope and deliver on evaluation contracts for external organisations which will include designing and conducting monitoring and evaluation activities
  • Contribute to promoting and improving evaluation best practice
  • Interpret core outcome reports to provide recommendations to diverse audiences
  • Contribute to establishing our credibility as an independent Research & Development Organisation
  • Generate ongoing research that informs the development of programs, new and existing.
Your Experience:
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills such as active listening
  • Experience in survey design, data analysis, interpretation, and reporting
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, including ability to utilise curiosity and critical thinking as tools for examining complex data sets to develop evidence-based findings
  • The ability to contribute to the ongoing development of programs through research and outcomes analysis
  • Capacity to support multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously with a calm and focussed approach
  • A positive personality consistent with the Marshman Foundation ethos of personal leadership
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology or other empirical field of social science.
Desirables:
  • An understanding of best practice training, facilitation and coaching techniques
  • Presentation skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Responding to Abuse and Neglect – Education & Care (RAN-EC)
  • First Aid Certificate
