Adelaide Showground, Wayville31st August – 8th SeptemberAttractive $$$About the RoleWe have over 100 positions available for motivated, enthusiastic and reliable Event Cleaners & Bin Runners to join our team for the Royal Adelaide Show 2024. You must have flexibility to work either day or afternoon shifts across the ten days of the show. Our shift times will run between the hours of 6am - 12am from Saturday 31st August – Sunday 8th September. We also have several opportunities for long term employment post show within our Events & Commercial sectors of the business, including leadership positions. We are proud to pay our team attractive $ with penalty rates. • Normal - 6:00am - 6:00pm - $31.21 an hour +superannuation
• Afternoon - 6:00pm - 6:00am - $34.96 an hour + superannuation
• Saturday - $43.70 an hour + superannuation
• Sunday - $56.18 an hour + superannuation

Duties & Responsibilities

• Litter picking of grounds
• Emptying front of house bins & relining
• Operation of waste compactors

Mandatory requirements:

• Previous experience in a hands-on, labouring or cleaning position
• A current (within the past 12 months) or be able to obtain a National Police Clearance
• Availability to work across all 10 days of the Show
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• You are a go-getter with an enthusiastic attitude
• Physical strength due to labour intensity of the role
• Excellent communication skills
• High standard of work, cleanliness and attention to detail
