We are looking for a Designer/Art Director to join our friendly growing team of left and right brainers who share our passion for events. If you are an experienced Art Director and/or Designer that gets excited by technology, design, food, music, unique locations and big ideas we would love to hear from you.
Duties include:
- Creation of unique event and project design.
- Conceptualising creative and unique designs for events and related projects.
- Designing look and feel of events.
- Creating sketches, floor plans, renders as required.
- Researching and developing ideas in collaboration with the client and other members of the team.
- Research and layout mood boards.
- Presenting and pitching to prospective and current clients in conjunction with the Event Producer.
- Drafting plans and schedules for events.
- Briefing assistant art directors / graphic designers.
- Liaising with clients and managing client relationships.
- Attend bump in and bump out onsite at events.
Skills and Experience
- At least 3 years experience in similar role.
- Advanced computer literacy for PC.
- Adobe Creative Suite and / or similar software packages.
- Vectorworks or CAD capability.
- 3D / rendering software capability.
- Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously
- High attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong portfolio showcasing highly creative design.
Whilst this is predominantly an on-site role based in our modern offices in Rosebery, there is some flexibility to work from home.
