SalaryEmergency Medical Response is a Victoria Department of Health Intermediate licensed Event First aid and training services provider that is growing. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated staff with advanced first aid experience as a medic, or a AHPRA registered paramedic to join our Level 2 and Level 3 Responder teams in Melbourne.
We are seeking staff that have some real-life practical experience in treating patients in a pre-hospital setting. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality medical care to patients and can work well under pressure, including major trauma and possible deaths.
The successful candidate must be available for a variety of shifts on week days, weekends, public holidays (not already have a full time job) and have access to a car to travel to our depot in Laverton North or directly to events on occasion.
We are looking for:
- Current Provide Advanced First Aid & Provide Advanced Resuscitation or HLTSS00068 Occupational First Aid Skill Set candidates for Level 2 Responder Applications
- A Certificate IV in Health Care, Diploma of Emergency Health Care, Diploma of Paramedical Science, Paramedical Science Bachelor Degree or similar qualification candidates for Level 3 Responder applications.
- Previous experience in treating patients in a pre-hospital environment would be an advantage.
- Available for a variety of shifts during the week, weekends and public holidays.
- Have access to a car to travel to our depot in Laverton North in Melbourne
- Current police check and working with children’s check (or prepared to obtain one)
- Excellent presentation and communication
- Reside in Western Melbourne or surrounding area
- Not be a student currently studying a degree at a University requiring more than 3 days attendance per week.
- Not currently employed full time.
