Chocolate Destinations Group is recruiting for an experienced, capable, hands-on Events Host who will be responsible for setting up and hosting chocolate tastings and chocolate making workshops for small groups at our stunning Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery.

About Us
Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery is an amazing tourism venue created out of passion, set on 40 beautiful acres in the Yarra Valley just 15 minutes from Lilydale. Our personal service, high-quality standards, amazing festivals and ever-growing chocolate range make locals and travellers keen to return time and time again.
We have a calendar of festivals, events and workshops that run almost every day of every week throughout the year. We’re looking for someone to lead our fun workshops/tastings and work in the retail showroom which has over 480 different chocolate products with chocolate and pastry production on view and in-house ice creamery.
Your Role
The Events Host will be responsible for setting up and hosting chocolate tastings and workshops. Promoting of the events to the thousands of our lovely Chocolaterie devotees is arranged by our Customer Experience Manager.
Approximately half of your day will involve leading these interactive customer events, with the remainder of your time being spent supporting the retail showroom team.
Training will be provided on our beautiful range of chocolate, pastry and ice cream products, so you can be confident in delivering our chocolate tasting and making workshops and experiences. You will be a team member initially in these events, listening and learning, until you are comfortable to adopt the hosting role.
This is a permanent full-time position with permanent part-time hours to be considered for the right candidate. Due to the nature of our business, you will be required to work most weekend days and most public holidays throughout the year (excluding Christmas Day).
