Our client is a unique Australian artisan distillery producing distinctive and premium spirits.
They are one of the fastest growing craft distilleries with a diverse product portfolio including a range of Australian Botanical Gins & Vodkas; and rich and complex Whiskies.
They are wishing to appoint an experienced creative and driven Event Manager / Brand Ambassador to play a critical role in enhancing their brand visibility, fostering community engagement,and driving revenue through strategic partnerships.
You will be responsible for developing, planning, and executing events and securing sponsorship opportunities to support the business’ objectives and initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
Event Planning and Execution:
- Lead & manage Trade & Consumer Events nationally
- Recruit, train and manage a pool of events casual staff or find an alternate method to resource events
- Coordinate and execute trade & consumer events including staffing, POS, stock management, all logistics, and event evaluation to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
- Source & develop event and on-premise opportunities, plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistics.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of events and activations.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential partners and target audience.
- Negotiate agreements and deliverables, including branding opportunities, recognition, and promotional activities.
- Develop and maintain trade relationships with new or existing on-premise accounts through networking events, education, training and activations
- Implement staff education and brand immersion through staff training, masterclasses, tastings and experiences
- Implement in-venue brand activations and cocktail promotions
- Create regular social media content to promote via brand channels & drinks community
- Design signature cocktail listings in conjunction with key accounts
- Develop and manage budgets for events and sponsorship initiatives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial targets.
- Identify opportunities to optimise spending and maximise return on investment.

- Minimum of 5 year’s experience in the hospitality industry with a minimum of 2 years experience as a Event Manager/Brand Ambassador or similar role
- Proven experience in event planning, and relationship management.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with event management software and tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
- Valid RSA certification
- Valid Australian driving license
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency status
